Entering his first season at The Falls, Dayne Bordelon joins the University of Toccoa Falls Men’s Basketball staff as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and Director of Player Development.
Bordelon will play a key role in the day-to-day development of the program, overseeing player development, film breakdown, scouting, and other essential aspects of the program. His responsibilities will include working closely with student-athletes both on and off the court while helping implement the program’s overall player development philosophy.
Bordelon reunites with Head Coach Colin Doss, having previously played for Doss at John Melvin College. A standout throughout his four-year collegiate career, Bordelon enjoyed his most productive season as a senior, averaging 11.1 points and 5.0 assists per game while serving as a captain of the program. In addition to his accomplishments on the court, Bordelon excelled academically, earning All-Academic Conference honors in back-to-back seasons.
“I am extremely honored to welcome Dayne to our coaching staff. His leadership, professionalism, work ethic, and basketball knowledge are among the best I have been fortunate enough to experience firsthand.
As a player, Dayne was a true leader and a director of our program, constantly looking for ways to improve himself and those around him. He understood what it meant to invest in something bigger than himself. For him to now have the desire to join our staff and continue this journey alongside me means more to me than I can put into words. I know the impact Dayne can have on our student-athletes, both on and off the court, and I am excited to have him representing The Falls.” - Head Coach Colin Doss
A native of Galliano, Louisiana, Bordelon brings valuable experience as both a former collegiate student-athlete and a player who has firsthand knowledge of Coach Doss’ system and philosophy.
